Meet Your Guides

Award-winning, Jamaica Tourist Board-licensed, and Jamaican-owned and operated, Reliable Adventures Jamaica (RAJ Tours) has successfully delivered unforgettable birding tours in spectacular scenery with knowledgeable and friendly guides since its inception in 2003.

Wolde Kristos launched his birding tour business out of a passion for caring for the environment and a desire to create international awareness of Jamaica's vast treasure house of endemic flora and fauna where, even today, new species of plants, snakes and insects are being discovered in the rugged interior of our tiny island.

Our well-trained, friendly guides are birding and ecotourism specialists, and give top quality tours for experts and beginners alike.

They have an intimate knowledge of the local area and its natural history – not just birds, also butterflies, dragonflies, lizards, plants, herbal remedies and their associated local folk lore.
